I've been reading Dennis Cooper's blog. yeah, i'm a nerd. anyway, he was talking about writing cause some jerk was teaching a writing class and telling kids the "rules" and he had to say that that guy was a jerk. anyway, he said something kind of cool so i thought i'd repeat it here.
Fiction is a drug. The reader is a druggie. The writer is
the chemist designing a drug that will give the reader
an ideal high. Don't design a drug that already exists.
If you do, no one will remember the high you gave them.
hooray. now it's time to get ready for work. and my roommate's girlfriend is leaving. she's weird. she has NEVER once said hi to me and barely even looked at me. even when i've said hi to her!!! what a stupid whore.
