no work shinnanigans today, i actually did what i was supposed to do. make wonderful posters for labs! woooooo. i was told i should write security books for kids cause of my posters. the last one was fun. it has great m$ clipart in it. i was listening to a song from the layer cake soundtrack and it said don't think about all those things you feel, just be glad to be. maybe i should do some packing.

Holistic
The word of the day is Holistic:
I started listening to the audiobook of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and so far I like it. Of course, it's really cool that it's read by Douglas Adams. I have also learned today that for an iPod to do it's bookmarking and speeding/slowing down that it claims to do for audiobooks, the files have to be converted to AAC and then change it to m4b instead of the normal m4a. That's a pain. Plus I forgot to change my settings to do AAC instead of Apple Lossless... so even though it makes m4a's, it didn't work and I had to start over. Yay for Apple...

we just saw the movie! it's pretty funny. i love the monkeys. they were gonna fling poo!
and i got a book... it's cooooooooool. Codes, Ciphers and Other Cryptic and Clandestine Communication. It's like a text book sorta, but it's got the history of cryptography, and like, tons of kinds of cryptography. starting with heiroglyphics! maybe i'll start encrypting my blogs and see if anyone can read them. hmmm... i think it's time to go read that book some more.... and find out what the word "clandestine" means....
